P O P C O R N... need I say more?

Almonds Carob Coconut Sugar Popcorn Superfood

It's time to share this snacking sensation secret recipe.

For years, every holiday season, I'd make a limited supply of Missy J's Popcorn for local craft fairs and every year these bags of "popcorn gold" sold out immediately. Today the secret is out! You can make this anytime you want.
Snack time can always begin and end with popcorn.
Am I right?
The bowl is always gone before you know it. BUT... melt the magic of Missy J's Carob, almonds and coconut and OMG, snack bliss.
This Crunchy... Salty... Sweet... treat will become your new family movie night, or anytime, favorite snack.

This popcorn sensation can be added to any party spread. It can be at a fancier gathering or a football game. Who am I kidding? I don't watch football, I watch Kid's Baking Championship or HGTV. (Ha ha)
Anyway, I can't wait to share the "Dessert Charcuterie" Board next.

INGREDIENTS

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Melt Missy J's Carob Chips and coconut oil in a double boiler or use the microwave technique. Stir to combine.

  2. Place 5 oz of popped popcorn in a big bowl that will hold the popcorn mixture and fit in your freezer.

  3. Add ½ cup almonds and ½ cup coconut chips to the bowl of popcorn.

  4. Drizzle the melted Carob mixture over the popcorn, almonds and coconut chips.

  5. WIth gloves or clean hands, gently coat the popcorn, almonds and coconut chips.

  6. Add 1 heaping tsp. of salt. Or salt to taste.

  7. Immediately put bowl in the freezer for about an hour.

  8. Once carob has hardened, set the bowl on the counter to allow it to come to room temperature.

  9. Once the popcorn mixture is room temperature, gently break it up.

  10. In a new bigger bowl, combine the remaining 3 oz. of plain popcorn, uncoated almonds and coconut chips with the Missy 's Carob coated popcorn, almonds and coconut chips.

  11. It's all you now!

    OPTIONS:
Instead of using coconut and almonds, try peanuts and/or raisins. It would also be fun to add Missy J's coated peanuts or almonds, dried fruit or freeze-dried fruit.
    The creative options are endless.

Stay tuned for the Dessert "Charcuterie" Board with this dreamy popcorn as the star.
