The blanched process keeps the peanuts with a temperature of 120° to 130° C. for 4 to 5 min, This process aims to reduce grain moisture, so the skin can be removed easily at the time the peanuts goes through the peelers, which have rollers cover with abrasive material allowing the skin extraction. There is no water used in this process.
